You’ll play a pivotal role in supporting the employee experience from onboarding to exit, ensuring compliance, improving people processes, and advising leadership on how to build high-performing, satisfied teams. This is a role for a resourceful and empathetic HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a passion for shaping an exceptional workplace.

Key Objectives

  • Maintain and enhance employee lifecycle processes, from recruitment and onboarding to offboarding and transitions
  • Ensure HR systems and processes are optimized for scalability, compliance, and employee satisfaction
  • Serve as the go-to resource for employees regarding HR policies, benefits, and conflict resolution
  • Help foster a culture of inclusivity, growth, and accountability

Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end onboarding and orientation process to ensure new hires feel welcomed and supported
  • Maintain employee records, data accuracy, and HR documentation in systems such as BambooHR, Workday, or PeopleSoft
  • Assist in managing compensation, benefits, leave, and performance programs while ensuring legal and policy compliance
  • Serve as a confidential advisor for employee concerns, helping resolve disputes and escalating when necessary
  • Provide guidance to managers and team leaders on organizational structure, policy interpretation, and employee relations
  • Coordinate exit interviews and offboarding logistics, gathering insights to help reduce attrition
  • Support internal communications, learning and development initiatives, and wellness programs
  • Collaborate with payroll, finance, and legal teams to ensure seamless HR operations
  • Monitor HR analytics and suggest improvements based on data trends

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in human resources, employee relations, or people operations
  • Proven ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism
  • Knowledge of employment laws and HR compliance standards
  • Strong communication, active listening, and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with HRIS platforms (e.g., PeopleSoft, BambooHR, ADP, Gusto, etc.)
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP, or equivalent)
  • Experience working in a scaling company or startup environment
  • A collaborative, solution-focused mindset with a strong attention to detail
  • Familiarity with current trends in employee engagement, DEI, and remote/hybrid work culture
